Yesterday's post focused on Blair Waldorf's prim and proper, classy-chic shoe style. While her shoe-style and wardrobe are certainly GORGEOUS...sometimes you just need to inject some rocker glam into your life.
Serena Van der Woodsen is the resident good-girl gone bad to slightly good again?? Really..it is just hard to keep up sometimes. But you can not deny that Serena's fashion sense is anything less than amazing. In Season 1, the way she accessorized her uniform plaid skirt, white shirt and navy-blue blazer made me wish my college had mandatory uniforms.
Serena does not discriminate against any shoe style, or clothes for that matter. Unlike Blair, Serena (for the most part) lives in jeans. But, not just any old jeans that she wears with an ancient, holey t-shirt (that most of us don). No! Serena wears her skinny jeans and t-shirts with a great boot and lots of layered, funky necklaces to make her look cool and effortless.
If Serena wears something basic like a pump or flat, you better believe there will be a funky detail on them.
