Winter boots: Fur

Shoeistas,

November has arrived and to me that means that fall is finally here. I am thoroughly ecstatic to break out my fall and winter wardrobe. My chunky sweaters, soft coats and fabulous boots. Fall also means spiced apple cider, holiday parties, cozying up to fireplaces and...wait for it...Christmas shopping (whether it's for you or the ones you love)! And for those of you who aren't excited...perhaps you are not fashionably prepared for the harsh winter ahead. But don't worry...I have fabulous boots to keep you chic and warm this fall and winter season. The next blog posts will break down the top boot trends that all the magazines are raving about and fashionistas are donning (without the hefty price tag).

Fur accented boots are so hott this season that designers Stuart Weitzman, Tory Burch, Chanel, D&G and Roberto Cavalli are all jumping on this bandwagon. These cozy boots are made from snuggle-worthy materials that don’t sacrifice warmth for style. Look chic in just about anything you pair these comfortably boots with. Skinny jeans and a blazer creates a structured look, while textured tights echo the cozy feeling of the fur and suede. Wear an airy dress with opaque tights and a fur coat for a rich look inspired by the Thakoon runway. Skinny pants and a lace or silk top will look extra luxe. Try with a chunky cowl-neck sweaterdress for a cozy, ski cabin look.

You might just forget that it's cold outside when you're wearing the cozy Rocket Dog SNOWFLAKE boots. The SNOWFLAKE ankle boot features a soft, sweater knit upper, a round toe, a delicate bow with fuzzy tassels that adorns the side, soft faux fur lining, a lightly cushioned insole while the rubber studs line the lightweight rubber outsole. 6" pull on-shaft. $29.99.

The SUDDEN mid-calf boot from Soda will make your outfits suddenly fabulous! These boots feature a faux suede upper with a faux fur cuff at the collar, round toe, adjustable, criss cross straps and buckle detail, smooth interior lining, padded insole, the side zipper makes it easy to slip on/off this boot and a high, synthetic wedge heel and a low platform. The SUDDEN also combines two of the hottest boot trends: fur and a wedge heel. $39.99.

The TREETOP cozy boot by White Mountain features a water resistant upper, cozy faux fur lining from ankle to toe, easy on/off with Tiger's tooth closures and a flexible non-skid outsole. 11" shaft and 1 1/4" heel. It comes in both Black and Brown. $39.99!
