Welcome to part 2 of my Winter boots post which will highlight this season's hottest boots for the coldest weather. These boots will warm your feet and keep you chic without drying up your bank account. For this post, my emphasis will be on riding boots. Don't worry, you will not look like a jockey in these equestrian style boots. There is a reason why riding boots have been a hott boot trend for the past few seasons and a popular choice for celebrities and designers alike. Celebrities to rock this trend are Taylor Swift, Kirsten Dunst, Rachel Bilson and Jessica Alba (among others).

One of the beauties of riding boots is that they literally go with everything. They are so easy to dress up or down...just depending on your mood. The other is that I don't think this style will die soon. I think that a great, basic riding boot is a wardrobe investment.

HOW TO WEAR: Add equestrian flair to fitted jeans and a blazer, military style jacket with chunky scarves, a skirt, lace tights and a basic top, leggings and a tunic shirt or a chunky sweater and a flowy dress and a long cardigan. Whatever you want to wear with these boots will look chic. I am just giving you some examples.

Winter boots: Fur

November has arrived and to me that means that fall is finally here. I am thoroughly ecstatic to break out my fall and winter wardrobe. My chunky sweaters, soft coats and fabulous boots. Fall also means spiced apple cider, holiday parties, cozying up to fireplaces and...wait for it...Christmas shopping (whether it's for you or the ones you love)! Today, I am style profiling the opposite of Gossip Girl characters: Eva and Georgina. Eva is sugar while Georgina is ALL spice.

While Eva was not in Gossip Girl long... she did leave behind a fashion legacy. Eva's style was sweet and girly... sorta like a cupcake. Yesterday's post focused on Blair Waldorf's prim and proper, classy-chic shoe style. While her shoe-style and wardrobe are certainly GORGEOUS...sometimes you just need to inject some rocker glam into your life.

Serena Van der Woodsen is the resident good-girl gone bad to slightly good again?? Really..it is just hard to keep up sometimes. I have been behind on all my favorite shows...fall season is always so hectic! Thank you DVR...my one and only (commercial free!) source of Gossip Girl, Season 4. I finally watched the Season 4 premiere this weekend and I HAD to watch the episode after that: Double Identity. I almost watched the third episode that my lovely DVR recorded for me, but the only thing that stopped me were my friends.
